"Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing."
If I had to sum up my vision and value it would be with this quote from Ben Franklin. I was schooled in the Ben Franklin way (literally and figuratively). I grew up in Philadelphia where Ben is almost as popular as cheese steaks but even though I'm a vegetarian, I stuck with him. I was fortunate enough to receive two scholarships to the Charles Morris Price School, which was founded by Ben's Poor Richard Club (The Poor Richard Club is solely dedicated to the scientific study of advertising). I had a dual major, advertising and journalism and graduated with honors as well as 3 job offers that immediately saw me rise to the pinnacle of the advertisting industry. At a young age I was suddenly teaching the advertising execs at the New York Times, how to creative. But the ad industry is everything Mad Men imagined it to and I burnt out in no time, I wa good at it, but there was something that didn't sit right about manipulating human emotions through art and story for monetary gain that was just a superficial as it sounds, despite the pay and my sought after expertise.

One day I went to the movies and saw WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT with a bunch of friends, and while they were drinking and laughing, I was having a moment. My world changed and I knew there was a new calling for a new (to me) kind of storytelling. Within 6 months, I was working at Walt Disney Studios where I spent over 11 years as a supervisor on some of the most iconic films in the Disney Animation library, and have "broken into" Hollywood 2 times since. With over 30 produced films, I am currently a writer-producer, artist, and script doctor and have many more films in various stages of production right now. I also run a "story studio" where I help other creators find the true north to their stories; and this is why I am here.
